MWBE Trailblazer award​

The Women’s Business Council (WBC) awarded Mildred Tolentino, President, and CEO of M To-Pros, with the MWBE Trailblazer award during their 18th WBC Champion Awards dinner. Brownette Cooke, introduced Mildred and said “Mildred is a doer. She has blazed a path in our industry applying her 20 years of management, design, and construction experience to a diverse range of projects, covering retail, hospitality, residential, health care, education, and public works.” Mildred humbly accepted the award and said “It's my commitment and hopefully my ultimate legacy to open doors to other women and minorities in our industry, to keep working hard to shatter the ceiling and to hopefully inspire others like me that it’s indeed possible. Y QUE SI SE PUEDE (yes we can)!​ ​

Congratulations also go out to Eileen Kennerly, part of our M To-Pros team, who received the Next Generation of Women’s Builders Award.​ ​

M To-Pros as “Construction Management firm of the year​

Thanks Zenaida Rodriguez and Regional Alliance and State of NY Assembly for yesterday’s outstanding recognition to my company: M To-Pros as “Construction Management firm of the year”​​

​It was such a great honor to be recognized among so many great professionals and be in the company of Senator Ruth Hassle Thompson, congressperson Rodneyse Bichotte and other great personalities.

Our mission at M To-Pros is to open more opportunities to women and other professionals that have come to this country and can’t get an entry into our career but are willing to work hard.​ ​

Having this company has allowed me to go into this journey of opening doors to other professionals or to form new ones.

I walked that walk when I came to this country at 22 with a degree in architecture and a big dream, but it was an uphill battle to enter my profession.

There’s so much talent been wasted because they do not have a resume that speaks about local experience.​​

I want to break that barrier for as many people as possible and hopefully let that be the MTO-Pros legacy.​​​​

Mildred Tolentino, CEO of M To-Pros, appeared in the Spanish show El Show de Jackie in the segment @Touring con Lucy. Mildred was invited in celebration of women month; Mildred spoke about her beginnings and how she became a business owner in the construction industry.

Yesterday at DEIB symposium in Seattle Washington organized by OAC Services Inc.

I would like to thank the OAC team for the invite, and their great leader Shawn Mahoney, also their board of directors, and some of OAC team members that worked very hard on the success of this event: Ashley, Ambar, Arianna, Ethel for all their support.

I returned to NY incredibly inspired and fulfilled. Thanks for bringing us closer to OAC Services, Inc. on this especially important subject of diversity and inclusion.
